CRC Evapo-Rust Brush-On Gel is a powerful, brushable gel format rust remover that clings to surfaces to effectively remove rust on mild steel and iron. Without the need to soak or disassemble the item. It is ideal for in-place applications and vertical surfaces. It is suitable for use on large items that cannot be disassembled.

How to use CRC Evapo-Rust Brush-On Gel
Directions:- Pre-clean item if it is dirty or oily and remove any loose rust scale.
- For best results do not use in direct sunlight. Ensure metal is cool to touch.
- Shake well before using. Pour estimated amount needed into a clean container. (Clean, used material can be returned to original container after use.)
- Apply a heavy coat of gel to the surface to be treated using a soft bristle brush or similar.
- For optimal results allow 2 to 3 hours before gel removal. Heavily rusted items and mixed materials will require longer working time and repeat applications.
- To inspect treatment progress, rinse and clean any gel off the item with water and dry with a cloth. If further rust treatment is required repeat step 5.
- Avoid letting gel dry on the surface. If product dries a hard brush and water may be required to remove it.
- For best results post rust treatment, surface can be coated with CRC Zinc It, CRC Metal Armour, CRC Long Life or similar.
Note: A white film may appear on the item during the treatment process. This film can be scrubbed and washed off with a hard brush and water.
Note: Test on a small, inconspicuous area before use to assess material compatibility, including decorative or polished surfaces.
